ACUIBIOMOL

The Molecular and Developmental Biology in Aquaculture Group (ACUIBIOMOL) was founded by Prof. José Luís Sánchez and is composed of teachers and researchers from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the University of Santiago de Compostela. Its main interests of research focus on the study of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the reproductive cycle of bivalve molluscs, the improvement of the productivity of the culture of marine bivalves, the mechanisms of elimination of biotoxins, and the study of the regulation and development and metamorphosis in the bivalve molluscs.
