Isaac Rodríguez (ORCID 0000-0002-9693-2042) has been Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry since 2020. His research focuses on the development and application of analytical methodologies for the determination of organic compounds at trace levels in various food and environmental matrices. He has expertise in a range of sample preparation techniques, chromatographic methods at analytical scale, and mass spectrometry combined with different ionisation sources and sample introduction systems.

Since his postdoctoral studies, he has participated in several research projects and contracts, co-supervised 12 doctoral theses, and contributed to over 180 scientific articles. Since 2020, he has been coordinator of the GI-1626 research group.
