Riádigos Couso, Xabier

Doctor in Equity and Innovation in Education from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2025). Graduated in Social Education from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), receiving the Academic Excellence Award for official undergraduate students from the Xunta de Galicia (2017/2018; 2019/2020) and the Extraordinary Award (2020/2021). Master’s in Research in Education, Cultural Diversity, and Community Development (USC, 2021-2022, Extraordinary Award).

He is involved in the projects “Educating in time for the climate emergency and socio-ecological transition (Resclim@tiempo)” [PID2022-136933OB-C21] and “Childhood citizenship and participation in children’s organizations. Diagnosis and proposals to develop the innovative capacity of children and professionals in ways to ensure participation” [PID2022-136267NB-I00].

Currently, he works as a postdoctoral researcher under the State Program for Developing, Attracting, and Retaining Talent, State Subprogram for Training – University Teaching Staff Training Grants (FPU), within the Research Group on Social Pedagogy and Environmental Education (SEPA-interea).
